Instructions

First, make your homemade achiote syrup: bring 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water to a boil over medium-high heat. Add 1 tsp achiote powder/paste and reduce to a simmer. Simmer for about 10 minutes until sugar is dissolved. Let cool and transfer to a jar.

To make your mocktail, add 2oz NA Mezcal, 3oz pineapple juice, 1oz water, 1oz fresh lime juice, and 1oz achiote syrup to a shaker. Shake with ice and pour into a glass over fresh ice. Garnish with tajin and pineapple fronds. Enjoy!
