crispy air-fryed halloumi with pumpkin aioli
i feel kindaaa bad that i love bomb pumpkin every year and then ghost it, hard. but it just kinda makes sense to me. anyway, you should make this because it’s REALLY GOOD.
cut your halloumi into cubes. dip each cube into flour, then whisked egg, then breadcrumbs. lay your halloumi out on a sheet and air fry until crispy (i air fryed mine for about 20 min at 400 degrees). alternatively, you can fry these cubes in a neutral (avocado) oil in a deep saucepan! while they’re cooking, make your sauce by adding all sauce ingredients (except water) to a bowl. once done, taste and decide if you want to adjust any ratios (the beauty of cooking!!!) - then, slowly add warm water tablespoon by tablespoon to thin out your sauce, if needed. dip your cheese in your sauce and enjoy!
