A homemade iced matcha chai latte recipe that's quick to make and serves two. It combines the spiced flavors of chai with the earthy notes of matcha, frothed with oat milk and sweetened to your liking.
1. Boil 2 cups water in a pot and add in 6 chai tea bags. Let simmer for 15 minutes. Pour into a glass and place in fridge to chill completely (30min+).
2. Add 1tsp matcha to a chawan or small bowl. Heat water to 175 degrees F and make a paste. Then, add 3 oz of water and whisk in an “m” shape, gently.
3. Add ice to a glass.
4. Pour cold chai concentrate over ice, about 3/4 full.
5. Steam/froth oat milk and add to your chai. Leave some room at the top.
6. Pour matcha on top to fill glass.
7. Add sugar or stevia for some sweetness. Enjoy!
