To make the "amaretto" syrup (if not using amaretto liqueur), add vanilla and almond extract to maple syrup and whisk until combined. To a chilled mixing glass, add the NA whiskey (or regular whiskey), "amaretto" syrup, fresh lime juice, and ice. Stir until the mixture is cold. To a chilled rocks glass, add a large ice cube and pour your drink over the ice until the glass is about 3/4 full. Then, top off the drink with ginger beer. Stir gently to mix all the ingredients. Garnish with a couple of Luxardo cherries and a lime wheel. Enjoy!
